Based in Turkey, Tansu yachts has made quite an impact on the global superyacht scene in the past few years. It has been building low production, high quality bespoke superyachts since 1996 and some of its recent launches such as the 39m Sexy Fish have been winning prestigious accolades such as the 2017 Showboats Design Award. The 36m Bartender also won an interior design award and was nominated for additional exterior and interior accolades.
According to the company’s blog its latest build, the 38m motoryacht named “Highlight” is underway with sea trials for an expected delivery at the end of the month. Tansu’s update on the seatrials stated M/Y Highlight is “undergoing extensive speed, vibration, noise, endurance and propulsion tests near Tuzla/Marmara Sea. All going great and she made the light ship top speed of 16.1 knots.”
Based on the success of Tansu’s launches over the past five years we can only expect more excellent work with M/Y Highlight and look forward to warm reception from the global yachting community.
